Critical Thinking

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/21/science/21memory.html

According to “To Really Learn, Quit Studying and Take a Test” January 20, 2011 The New York Times by Pam Belluck. Based on experiments in article, concept mapping is more outstanding than test. But text is made a long time memory which is you will be recall and still remember the details.  So taking a test is not just a passive mechanism for assessing how much people know, and also helping you to learn.

Even though the test is good for long term memory, I still prefer concept mapping. Based on article, concept mapping is more easily for students, it shows out in experiences of 200 people been separated in four groups and valued their memory. The first week, concept mapping did better because of their logical connection, although the test group doing well in the end. I think test is a word relate with “prepare”, “nervous”, and “achievement.” More tests will make me always keeping focus; finally my mind will be destroying under huge stressed. On contract, draw some symbols to connect with article will build more stereo graphic in mind. It is the best way for me about learning.
