HI everyone! My name is Kai Nin Wong(Eric).I am nineteen years old. I am come form china! In my family, there are four member. I have one younger brother. In my leisure time, I would like to play basketball, listen to music and watch movie. I have been Seattle for one year. My first language is Chinese, English is my second language. I did graduated high school in my country, because my mother wanted me study in U.S. Now I am study in Seattle Central Community College. My major is computer science. After I finish my school in U.S, I will go back to China for work.
I think this article is very interesting because it explains how people retain more information in their mind and learn. Sometimes I have though that tests, quizzes or some evaluations are obsolete methods used by schools. However, this article helped me to understand how the brain memorizes through retrieving. Tests help brain to recognize some gaps in their knowledge. As the same way, drawing diagrams help brain to remember more details. Both test and drawing diagrams help people to learn. However, people think that they learn more easily with drawing diagrams. While I study or read, I like using drawing diagrams because I can remember more detail during the tests.
